His actions could have cost the life of a CIA Agent and her husband. This was treason, and he should get life. Mr. Libby was doing Carl Rove's, Dick Chaney's, and GW's bidding, so why aren't they being held accountable too? Is it because of their money and power over democracy, honor, truth, and justice? Are they above the law? Isn't this like unto dictatorial radical fundamentalism? How can we get back to and preserve our democracy?

I agree 100%. Unfortunately he was convicted of lying not the CIA leak.
What is certain is that Cheney & Bush were responsible for the leak,. Libby, nor any subordinate, ever took a breath without their direct order. In fact Cheney is known for his attention to the smallest details of every operation.

Here is the real serious unanswered question. When Jennings & Brewster was exposed the entire CIA operation and CIA operatives in the Middle east were exposed to the enemy.
Since the CIA never acknowledges agents killed captured tortured etc. in the line of duty will we ever know if there were indeed American casualties of that nature caused by Bush & Co's treasonous felony crimes?

Actually the 2.5 years is on the high side according to laws on this stuff. And they'll charge others if they can find enough evidence. I'm pretty sure they're looking into it and have been looking into Rove, Cheney and others. Like you said nobody is above the law. They can't just lock away people without proper court trials.

Unfortunately Scooter will never go to jail too. Bush will PARDON him. The biggest mistake Americans committed was to re-elect Bush in 2004. We all will pay the price of that ignorance.
