lets say your moving to the another country or state soon and your good friend comes up to you and say"can you do me a favor?" and you asked them what it is and they say"can you not leave?"---do you think this is cute?

No. I have a friend doing just that soon. She's an artist and has the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to France and Germany soon. My advice right from jump was "Go for it!" I think this response suprises her a bit, but it really is the thing she needs right now. But if it was a permanent thing then yes, I would ask them to stay.
