And what about unwed mothers, shouldn't they get abortions too, since a lot of hose babies will be on WIC and other public assistance? And what about those bi-racial babies, wouldn't it just be better that they were not even born, so that they won't be an embarasement to their families? And how about babies concieved by incest or rape, they have no right to exist any way, and how dare biology make them live? And since there are someimes complications from abortion, shouldn't we write laws, that protect the predomonantly male abortionists from any liability?

Obviously, as some of my other posts, very few people see my sarcasm. Point is, I am a pro-life liberal. Every thing that I have listed, have been the reasons that women I have known have had abortions. Fact is, the biggest excuse for an abortion I have heard, is that the baby would be unwanted, so it is better to not have it. What a stupid excuse! There was a pro-choice rally a few years ago in Phoenix, Arizona that I attended a few years ago, and they were protesting the graphic display of aborted fetuses. The reason that the pro-life movement did this, is because the pro-choice croud said that abortion was not traumatic to the baby or the mother.

You see, I used to have an attitude of 'who cares?' when it came to abortion. And then, I got a job in a pathology lab. Some of the fetuses that were brought down after an abortion, were wraped in gauze and immersed in saline. Sometimes, when the pathologist would open it, the tiny fetus would be gasping for air.

You shouldn't depend on the Government, but these things should be done through common sense. This all has to do with what is best for children in general. Is it better to kill 12 children or none or 1. In an ideal world no children will die. But in our current world children will die one way or the other.
---Mainly through a lack of resouces to feed and care for the children of the world.---- If a person is pregnant with an "unwanted" fetus is it better to abort the fetus or to allow 12 fully grown childen to die? And that is what the real question should be. Why force a person who does not want a child to deliver, when the resources required to force the birth and raising of the child could be used to save 12 children?
The problem with most of the answers to this question is that they are made by people unable to see beyond their own noses. They only see the fetus and not the children that will die due to their careless ideas. People such as these do not have the foresight to "lead" other people. In a fair system, people with answers such as those above would be prosecuted and punished for allowing an unwanted fetus to cause the death of 12 children.
1) Yes for 100,000 forced WIC babies forced to be born 1.2 million children could be saved.
2) If the bi-racial baby or pure race baby is unwanted, then by forcing the birth of the bi-racial baby, you are killing 12 other bi-racial babies. Why murder 12 wanted kids to allow 1 unwanted fetus?
3) Those of incest and rape should be aborted simply to not allow the rapist to "win" a free baby. What a great way to kill 12 other kids. A rapist gets a baby and 12 other mothers get to see their children die. Where is the wisdom there?
4) No person should be protected from the law for their errors. And not only should abortion doctors not be protected, those who force birth and are responsible for the killing of 12 children for each fetus they "save" should be sued in civil court.
You pro lifers think you are doing God's work. But you should look at what God himself does. He aborts. And he does so because it is the only sane way to save children.

1.) Should unwed mothers get abortions? No. In some cases a woman is engaged when her husband skips town and leaves her single, and with child. And how can you generalize the entire community of single, unwed mothers - especially those who have gotten a divorce? Women can take care of themselves - most of them will not be relying on welfare to get them through life and motherhood (depending on where they're from.)

2.) Bi-racial babies? I have my own opinions on that but love is blind - Let the parents deal with the consequences (good or bad) of being intimate with an individual of another nationality/race. You cannot be the judge because you're not involved.. It's none of your concern.

3.) Children of incest or rape? It's ultimately up to the mother whether or not she'd like to keep the child, abort it, or give it up for adoption. A mother's love is priceless - Something you obviously have been denied.

4.) Complications from abortions - There's always a threat of some kind or another in everyday life situations. A man (BOY) shouldn't get off of the hook if something goes wrong because he's partly responsible for what happens anyway, he hopped on the good foot and did the bad thing with the woman. He needs to man up. If he doesn't want any liability - Get it cut off.

Why rely on the government for your poor choices or biological factors? Sounds absurd.

While I think this world is overpopulated as it is, and am a strong abortion rights proponent you should have probably left the "Bi-racial babies" out of that question. You sound more like a Southern Conservative than a "Rabid Liberal"
