Oh, I don't think so. Every team goes through a losing streak and dry spell. The Red Sox are doing that right now and still have a NINE game lead. On second thought, I do believe they are being put into their place--right into the divisional championship, the AL championship, and the World Series championship!!

Chow!!

As a die hard Yankees fan, I would love nothing more than for the Red Sox to be put in their place. I'm hoping that this Sox losing trend keeps up and the Yankees winning trend also keeps up. True the Sox still have a 10 1/2 game lead over the Yankees, but it is still early. And I for one believe that the Yankees can get it together and come out fighting for the division.

The Sox won't continue they pace to get 105 wins. In the weak AL East, they will probably only need 85-90 to make the playoffs. They will cool off as summer heats up and they have to face teams outside of their division. I can see an upset coming along - the Mets were favorites last year and look what happened when they clinched a weeks early.

ummm no, you have to be naive to think the Sox were not EVER going to get into a slump....It happens and it's a long season. It's not like they are getting blown out either or the pitching is stinking. Their bats are cold! They will break out.

Nope, even though I'm an A's fan. The A's will sweep them because good pitching beats good hitting anyday. Boston will be just fine and still have the double digit margin for the Yankees.

You never know. That's why they play the game. 162 game schedule is no picnic.
