I'm the same as always. Generally disgusted with the hijacking of my country by pseudo-religious extremists who can't think strategically and have ruined every institution we have, the economy and the Constitution.

Other than that, I am hard at work trying to sell my writing, and I just reread my latest short story and loved it. My dog is sick but getting better, and my wife is sick, but not seriously.

Our Council at our senior building tonight played two fine old radio shows for a dozen listeners; I don't feel great either, but if I can find a job despite my being one of the best minds in the world, I'll forgive all the rest.

Oh, and the rear hatch on my car should be fixed by tomorrow. Only a hundred dollars more gone for that fix.
That will make me feel a bit more cheerful, getting it back so we can go on shifting stored boxes from our old garage to the new rental place.
