This is going to sound a little strange, and it's kind of hard to explain. You know how some things you just do on instinct and thinking about them makes you confused? Well, I overthink so many things..Like, if I'm really good at something I think "how am I doing this?" and then I don't know how to do it as well as before. Or if I think something is funny, i think "why is it funny" and then I stop laughing. It happens to me way more than i think it should. Has anyone else experienced this or know about it?

Edit:
Thanks for the replies so far..Croa, you seem to really know where I'm coming from. It's just hard for me to get rid of the "what if"s because once the thought pops into my head I can't just make it go away.

Yes, I used to think the same way.
Now, I just go with it and don't worry about 'what if?".
Life is way too short to over analyze things and you'll be much happier and more productive if you learn to let go of the outcome.
Good luck

Yes I do...well, I guess...I did...

But then I learned about the world even more from people around me, and I have come to a conclusion to that thought...

I may think about things over and over again, but then, if there's nothing to be gained by just thinking about it, then why bother thinking about it?

Life is already hard enough, why do I want to make it even harder? Just go with the flow...many things I did, I did by instinct, because at those moments, instincts were the answer to it all...

Anyway, this may seem illogical for you today, because this "problem" cannot be solved by the help of others...it can only be solved by none other than yourself...

Trust me...sooner or later you will understand it yourself...

Best of luck,

Yes I used to way over analyze everything. It's way too stressful and I'll never be perfect so I gave that up. Learn to relax and don't question yourself about everything you do. Believe in yourself and your decisions & go with your instinct. It rarely leads you astray. If you think something is funny.....laugh & don't question it. Laughter is the best medicine on earth. When you do something well, pat yourself on the back & chalk it up to hard work. You need to start believing in yourself!
