i used to be a serious blogger, mostly i blogged about random stuff and had quite a few readers without pluggin myself or promoting in any way. i found that i got most of these readers by commenting on other popular blogs. nothing like "come read my blog" but just witty comments and i also befriended a couple of the other popular bloggers and got some honorable mentions in their blogs which got me some traffic. i don't blog much anymore because myspace is blocked at work and that was where i did most of my blogging... oh well. now i waste days on YA!
