In 1962, the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup. During a party after the win the trophy was dropped in a bonfire and badly damaged. It had to be repaired at the expense of the team.

I don't know about the Stanley Cup, but I know the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL broke the Memorial Cup after winning.^.^

No, but it was once dropped-kicked into a frozen canal in Ottawa by some drunk champions in the early 1900's. They weren't technically on the ice, but Stanley ended up there for one frigid night.

I believe it has sat at the bottom of Mark Messier's pool, but hasn't been dropped on the ice. It definitely has it share of dings and scratches from all the partying, though.

It also went for a dip in Mario Lemieux's pool.
Would hate to have been the one to fish it out.
It would be a heavy sucker.
