Salaries must increase when prices of goods increase because there is no balance of justice in this situation. Businessmen do not lose profits while ordinary employees suffer the fate of price increases. The government must address this problem.

If everything else goes up, salary goes down. It should be quite obvious as to why. Price goes up, so manufacturers have to cut costs, and the easiest place to cut is payroll.

What about the cost of living increase that sometimes is added to a paycheck? Isn't that pretty standard with general business or is that mainly for retired people on a fixed SS income who live well below the poverty level (generally speaking)?

YES! Thats what most people don't realize....I just went grocery shopping yesterday, and I could see a price hike on everything....Why? Because cost of transporting food goes up and they pass it on to the consumer....Disgusting...

everything u buy need transportation say any food or bus ticket..
but ur salary is stationary..need no rise in price..
