you can;t really compare them yet.. coz '96 class have more time to prove themselves...
'96 is better now.. but they come with age and experience already.
but in terms of immediate impact... i believe th '03 class is better..
after four years in the league:
'96
iverson: has not yet been past the 2nd round
-kobe-person in the batch with a championship
-nash: has yet to average in double figures
-jermaine: has yet to average 5 points!
-marbury: kg sidekick
rayray: 1st round playoffs
walker: just dances
'03 class:
wade has delivered a championship at miami..
cavs are finally in the finals c/o lbj..
bosh and ford: has resurrected raptors (although early exit)
melo has reenergized the nuggets(although early exit in the playoffs)
josh howard: an nba finals apperance
diaw: proved to be one of the most verstile player
milicic... nah.. nevermind.. haha!

well most of the plyers in the 96 draft have already develop so i can see why people would pick the 03 draft which still hhave time to develop and probably just look at the top 8 guys
(lebron, wade, bosh etc) beside the superstars in the 96 draft like kobe, iverson, the 96 drafts had alot of solid players with good carriers (not superstars or stars but good solid players)
which you can't tell from the 03 draft yet.

That's a pretty tough question and it probably won't be fully answered once all the players have retired. Although Lebron James and D-Wade have more then proven themselves over the past couple years I still think that the 96 draft is better. How can you go wrong with Kobe, AI, Ray Ray, Steve Nash, Stephon Marbury, Big Z and more.

Class of 1996 are better. Look at the Top Guns in today's game... Nash (2 MVP awards), Bryant (3 Championship rings), Iverson (1 MVP regular season, 2 All-star MVP's) Marcus Camby (Best Defensive player) Antoine Walker (a championship ring), Peja Stojakovic, Jermaine O' Neil, Derek Fisher (3 championship rings), even the undrafted Ben Wallace won a championship and a 4-time Best Defensive Player of the year. These guys are bemedalled players and have established themselves as winners in the league. The 2003 class is getting there but IS not there yet(That with the exception of Wade having won a championship).

The 1984 NBA Draft saw the selection of four players who would be named among the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History at the league's 50th anniversary in 1996: Hakeem Olajuwon, Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and John Stockton. These four players accumulated seven MVP awards, 23 All-NBA First Team appearances and 45 NBA All-Star Game selections.
Many other solid players were drafted in 1984, including Otis Thorpe, Kevin Willis, Michael Cage, Sam Perkins and Alvin Robertson.
It has been regarded as perhaps the strongest draft class in history, along with the 1996 NBA Draft and 2003 NBA Draft.
14 NBA Finals appearances with Jordan winning 6 rings, Olajuwon winning 2, and Willis and Thorpe winning 1 each.
Throw in Jerome Kersey as a second round pick with 3 finals appearances and winning 1 ring as well and 1984 is better than 1996 and 2003 combined.

Out of the two, 96 for sure. 96 is not the best draft ever. 84 without a doubt is the best draft ever.

right here's a rapid evaluation of the extra proper beginners of each 12 months: 80 4- Olajuwon, MJ, Charles Barkley, John Stockton ninety six- AI, Starbury, Kobe, Ray Allen, Steve Nash, Jermaine O'Neal, Stojakovic 03- LeBron, D-Wade, Carmelo, Chris Bosh in my opinion, the 'ninety six draft became somewhat greater than the '80 4 and '03 ones.
