If the price of an item is

p = 2x^2 - 100,

then the Revenue,

which is Price multiply by quantity x,

is

R = p times x
R = px

or

R = ( 2x^2 -100) x

5 mouse cost $10 x 5 = $50, rite?

p = 2x^2-100 for 1 item
for x item ?

p. x = p (2x^2-100)

Revenue (r) = Price (p) times number sold (x)
r = px
= x(2x^2 - 100)
= 2x^3 - 100x
