if you can make up any other good question with 'who...' in it and has to do with metamorphic rocks you can leave that and an answer to the question as an answer.

Metamorphic rocks have been known and used by man since well back into prehistory, so I would reword the question to "Who discovered the natural history of metamorphic rocks?" The answer to that question is James Hutton and those who worked with him.
