Most of you should know that Kobe was extremely close to going to the Clipper's because he wanted to leave the Laker's but still stay in L.A. If Kobe did make that move were would the Clippers be right now. I honestly think it was good that the Clippers didn't sign Kobe, the Clipper's are all about team chemistry. And we all know (Kobe fans or not) that Kobe doest not equal team chemistry. Thank you Kobe for not going to the Clippers, you would have ruined my favorite team. Also if Clipper's did get Kobe they would have probably had to have gotten rid of Elton Brand and then some, it would have totally ruined the Clippers.

the clippers would be really good! they might have won a champ but would be in 4 a great chance with livingston,kobe,maggette,brand and kaman!

True Laker fans would hate him for being a trader and he would ruin the the chemistry of a team because hes more of a scorer and self minded hint: 81 points against the Raptors. And he has games where he shoots the ball at least 27 times, this isnt what the Clippers need to be a better team. He boosted his assist stats this season but its been an effort not something he is accustomed to. I say he would destroy the Clippers and their organization. They would probably lose some of their young talent too.

I totally agree with you. If Kobe went to the Clipper, then the Clippers would be in the Lakers situation right now. It's a good thing that the Lakers are so obssesed of Kobe that they offered Kobe a contract that the Clippers didn't bother to match.
Bad mistake for the Lakers and good thing for the Clippers.

i'm a Clipper and Laker Fan. i'm so excited next 12 months. The Lakers are going to have the twin Towers (Bynum and Gasol). Oh an the debut of Baron Davis. hi marvelous theory approximately signing Artest possibly he could be a good extra healthful with teh Clippers.

Yes, He would win over fans, but would probably destruct the team chemistry. Elton Brand is the MAIN GUY in clipper land having another Superstar in the line-up would just give the team a flare especially the egos running wild. They would probably self-destruct just as when Shaq was dealt to the Heat.

the younger more give me the ball and get out of the way kobe would have killed the team maybe but i think since he lost shaq and has had his chance to "be the man" i think is more willing to rely on others. imo he doesnt trust anybody to make plays other than himself with the lakers right now hence him gettin 50 a night and going nowhere! he knows now that it takes more than 1 guy.
