There are over 750 terror suspects held in at Guantanamo Bay. As suspects they can be found innocent. So what is our a plan for what to do with those who have spent years locked up in a foreign military prison, eventually tried and found not guilty?

If they are not guilty, the they are not considered terrorist. The issue with Guantanamo is that they are not given a chance at trial or Due Process

They are called 'Political Prisoners' and they will probably be locked up for a long period of time...

Ask Leonard Peltier... He has been at the Federal Prison in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas for over thirty years.

They will need a 'Presidential Pardon' in order to be set free.

Ask Sami Al-Arian

He was found "not guilty" in an American court well over a year ago

You can write to Sami Al-Arian at Butner Federal Prison in North Carolina

Bush claims that he can hold them forever without charging them with anything. So if they are found not guilty and he doesn't like the verdict, he can just throw them back in jail and say the hell with charging them with anything.

Bush apparently thinks that he is the Supreme Dictastor.

Repatriation and compensation. Maybe an apology or two. Many have been sent home already, something the media will not tell you. I would not count on many being found innocent. Do not feel so sorry for them. Most are GUILTY!!

Hold them for a few years, find them not guilty and then send them packing, all pissed off. How to win friends and influence enemies. Personally, I suspect most are guilty as sin.

Push them out the gate at Gitmo and tell them to beat it. Then they will be Castros problem. They get nothing else from the USA. War is hell , it's too damn bad they decided to mess with the best.

I assume they will be set free. What else would they do?
