Seriously, the reason why it is such a big story is that it is not often that someone that rich, and that famous, actually goes to jail.

I guess people are fascinated that a celebrity actually had to go to jail. They usually buy their way out.
BTW. In my state this violation would not necessarily lead to jail time. Even with the suspended license. It seems to me they would usually go with something else unless there was a second drinking violation. But, I might be behind on the law.
I don't drink and drive (not even after one drink) so I don't worry about this stuff.

Not me I'm glad to see the worthless blond in jail. Now if Lyndsy Lohan and the rest of them can just be locked up the world would be more peaceful. I think they are all bad role models for the kids out there today.

Just about every red-blooded male who isn't married (harhar), gay or too young/old to be concerned with sex... Come on, she's rich, hot, and single! And besides that, there are people (not unlike myself) who might have a fantasy (or six) about possible lesbian cat-fights or interrogation/BDSM sessions behind the bars. Impossible, I know; but since voyeurism is reaching epidemic proportions these days, no sense arguing about it, eh?
