My bedroom curtains depend on my attitude. If I'm feeling open and sharing and friendly and go-lucky toodles, I leave them open. If I'm feeling like a selfish, demented, twistedly-sick bastard, I close them to the world! Screw you all!
Actually, I don't even have bedroom curtains. I have window shades and they're always closed. So, yeah ... screw you all!

We have plantation shutters and they are closed at night. I can't sleep if there is any light in the room.
