Remember that dividing by a number is the same as multiplying by its reciprocal.

In other words, x divided by y is the same as x times 1/y. You can see this with something simpler, like 6 divided by 2. You get the same thing by multiplying 6 by 1/2.

So, when you divide 9/5 by 12/5, you can rewirte it as 9/5 times 5/12.

In that case, you can cancel the 5s to get 9/12. This reduces down to 3/4.

So easy for sure ^^

9/5 : 12/5 = 9/5 x 5/12
(the one in behind always flipped over)
(then, scratch the five)
= 9/12
= 3/4

you'll get the same answer if you do the 9x5/12x5, but..it's spend too much time to get the 3/4

9 12
-- \ ---
5 5

You just flip over the second fraction so
12
----
5
becomes
5
---
12
The \ symbol becomes into X

so..
9/5 x 5/12 = 45/60
In LCD= 3/4
