Looking for drives that i have lost on my computer, because my dvd drive and E drive wont work, for me to create back up CD's for purpose of saving computer if it crashes, can anyone help? But, now with drive E, i can install software from disks onto the computer, but it wont let me create back up disks, and neither with the DVD drive.

Well there are several ways to go about this. 1st and probably easiest is to buy whats called a jump drive. they are pretty inexpensive these days with 1 gig to much higher. these Willl pop up as your F drive when you double click my computer. You wil see F drive in the list below your c drive. simply drag and drop. any info or folder or what ever you want to the F drive Just hover it over and drop it in there. If you later want to delete or see whats on it you just double click that drive and delete or add. 2nd option is to go to your device manager . right click my computer and go down to properties click it and look for hardware manager. click it and look for any yellow warning signs. If you see one that shows your rom drives or any others for that matter. right click them and choose install driver automatically. You know its going to work if you see the paper going to paper animation. do this step on all yellow flashing signs whether it works or not. step 3 . also go to windows updates and check for any updates it gives you. 4th and final go to your rom drive manufacturers sight and get the latest drive for your roms. download and install them. make sure there the right ones. good luck.

go to your mother board manufactures support website and download the drivers... these driver will be the latest drivers so you will be better off in the long run,,

google it, type what your looking for it, i installe dsome of the drivers that i threw the box away, but i went to gigabyte.com, i searched for my motherboard, or the closet one, and i download some stuff.
