This is for my sociology class. For a group thesis. i need a question concerning the welfare of the people or anything that concerns anyone.

Is this a high school or college level course? I've always enjoyed causing a stir by asking provocative questions. Social programs: Are they to assist or enslave? (Give them a fish and they'll eat a meal. Teach them to fish and they'lleat a lifetime.)
Gendered topics: Character traites, are they learned behaviors or genetic?
Socio-Economics: Do white men REALLY enjoy privilege granted simply because they are?
Education: UCLA has been suffering unrest as of late. Seems the state of California nolonger allows Affirmative Action to weigh in on admissions. Suddenly, there has been a massive decline in enrollment by black women -- record low. Is it because they don't bother trying? Didn't qualify to meet the standard? Both? Why only black women?
