The Phil Silvers Show is considered by many to be the greatest of all original sitcoms. Sergeant Bilco and his company are a group of silly nutjobs, and the cast went on to become famous actors in their own right. They may be hard to find, but worth it. I assume you know about Sid Caesar's Show of Shows......this single show had among its writers and actors, the foundation of the television and film industry for the next forty years. Mel Brooks, Neil Simon, Larry Gelbart, etc
