15 = 3 x 5

21 = 3 x 7

3 x 5 x 7 = 105

LCM of any two numbers is the smallest number which when divided by two different natural numbers gives the two original numbers. Going backwards, if we have two numbers and we need to find the LCM, find their factors first, in this case, for 15, we have 5,3. and for 21, we have 7,3. So there's a common factor 3. Eliminate one 3, and multiply the rest of the numbers, that is:
3x5x7 = 105.
