Is think its a bit of both. Aside from that, common sense is not so common. About your mistakes, you are probably stressed out right now or you're not happy with your job. Keep up the good fight, get focused, do your best, believe in yourself, if your heart is in it, you will be an excellent nurse. Best to you.

Common sense is both intuitive and learned through experience. The more you experience the more things will become habit to you& using your common sense is one of them.

Common sense is learned from experience, both personal and observed.
For being intuitive? That's commonly called the "little voice inside you." Better to be safe than sorry.

I know exactly how you feel. Doing new things sometimes it seems like I keep messing up on things that other people believe is plain common sense. However, I realize that when I feel more confident my mind is clearer to perform with more "common sense," and with time and experience confidence grows. Therefore, indirectly experience improves "common sense"

O... K...
Common sense. Don't stick your finger in a light socket while the lamp is turned on. Don't play in traffic. Don't mess around on your boyfriend.
Stuff you already know. Stuff everybody *should* know. Thus "common sense"...

If you lack common sense. I think you're screwed. I know plenty of smart people out there who does the stupidest things because they lack common sense. I can't find anyway to help them. I don't think it's trainable. sorry.

Common sense equals thinking in terms of the greater good.
Train your brain to help yourself as you help others.
Good yet directed energy out, good and useful energy back.
And Bonus, it's still good Karma.

Yes. It is Intuitive in nature. But it begins with honesty, as all worthwhile things will.
Who is the one who can build a real house upon straw, even though believing it to be as stone?
