This is called disociative identity disorder. It usually occurs because of childhood abuse. The persons personality dissociates and splits into multiple personalities as a coping mechanism. It is very confusing as some experience time loss when another personality is active.

Schizophrenia is a fascinating thing to me but easily understandable. Acting is something that we all do at sometime or other in our lives. Show me a person who has not acted and I will show you a person who has had a stunted growth. I could be wrong, ut I doubt it. There are some people that have come to understand that you have to be certain ways in life to get different reaction from different people. You could say they have learned to be different people in one body in order to survive in life. That is a schizophrenic person. I believe it to be a normal condition for some people. It only becomes dangerous when they are not conscious of their different personae. Especially if one is violent. split personalities usually only include two sides of the personality spectrum like in the case of Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll. Multiple personalities in one person and you get someone like Sybil. If you look closely you will notice that in both cases environment played a big part in the development of their personalities. Oh by the way though the story about Hyde and Jekyll is fictitious it is said to be based on a true person.

A split personality or Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) happens when a person is so traumatized that they "split off" into different pieces to avoid dealing with the trauma.

It's complicated! But to simplify, the person is not really different persons, he/she just finds different personality expressions that help them act out the trauma they cannot deal with.
The latest "Criminal Minds" show had a serial killer that was acting out the trauma and abuse he received from his pathologically religious father. He killed his father, then split off into a personality that was just like his father, an angel, and himself. He killed people (as his father) and turned himself in to 911 as the angel. The second part is on next week.

the precise comparable place all souls pass. Nowhere in any respect! And right this is why. "For the residing comprehend that they shall die: however the lifeless comprehend no longer any element, neither have they from now on a reward; for the reminiscence of them is forgotten." Ecclesiastes 9:5. "And because it fairly is appointed unto men as quickly as to die, yet after this the judgment:" Hebrews 9:27. "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his ideas perish." Psalm 146:4. "And our lord god formed guy of the dirt of the floor, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of existence; and guy grew to grow to be a residing soul." Genesis 2:7. So, as you are able to evidently see, we are the soul, we don't own one and the lifeless merely lay around of their graves looking forward to the judgment. They neither pass everywhere, nor do the comprehend something, they see no longer something, they hear no longer something. The coaching that they do is a lie! It comes at modern-day from Babylon, the Dagon faith which replaced into switched over into the Roman Catholic faith, that could't be seen as Christian faith.

It is not a split personality. There is no psychological term "split personality" anymore. They may be moody. They may be manipulative, or impulsive or demanding. It is VERY unlikely that they have more than one personality.

Well, i would see if it's more like personality split , or just mood swing, or even simply can't make his/her decision. This person must be very young, trying to search self-identity and trying to explore life. Nothing wrong about that.

'Split personality' starts out as a protective measure, but unfortunately is unhealthy. It begins with suppression of memories, and ends with outright insanity, a person blotting out the memories of the things a side of them they fear or hate performs.
