Is next week the ''season finale'' or the ''series finale'' of the show?

I'm from Canada. But it says everywhere [even on their site] that the season finale is next week...
Where are you [person that claims to have seen the episode already]???

It's the season finale. The way the announced it did seem like it would be a series finale. But next season they won't be back untill January. And they are skipping the college years and going right to adult life. Watch the cw's website in September because the are going to do video diaries from each one of them describing what happenend during college.
