I fell when I was pregnant with my first child, I was worried sick, I called the Dr the same day and got into his office, in this situation it is better to be safe than sorry, everything turned out fine withme, I now have a perfect yet sometimes moody 7 year old girl. Get it checked just to make sure and put your mind at ease. Good luck!

sorry to hear about the fall during your pregnancy. Hope you are a bit less sore. I don't have kids but I've been around people who have actually fallen, been beaten and in one situation, i remember one of my friends doing a 1 1/2 mile run, push ups and sit ups not realizing that she was7mths pregnant. Worrying would not help your situation. Take the next step. Check in with your local doctor, and it never hurts to say a prayer. Everyone's body is different and will react to diverse situations differently. Stay positive and don't worry about a situation that only God has control of. You will be alright. Shalom.

My sister had a very bad car accident when she was 6 months pregnant. Totaled her car and left one VERY large deep bruise across her stomach from the seat belt. The doctors told her not to worry, the baby is very protected. But if you can't stop worrying just get in to the doctor for an ultrasound. I don't think I could stand the worry.

Hi there, Im sorry this has happened to you...

Please phone your midwife or go and see your GP, they can listen for the baby's heart beat and check that everything is ok, ignore everyone else and do what is right for you and what your gut feeling is telling you. No one will accuse you over over reacting.. so what if they do this is your baby and you react any way you want.

Good Luck x

Toz, sorry to here about the ignorant sods who laughed at you when you fell but I would advise that you get a check up just to ensure that both baby and you are okay. Your gp or midwife will be happy to check you over and will help put your mind at ease. Take care honey! Good luck and be safe xxx

Have you felt the baby move since the fall? You probably should call the doctor and tell him/her what happened. They will listen for the fetal heartbeat and may even scan you early just to be safe.

you should call your dr and maybe they can have you come in and just listen for the heartbeat...because that was always so reassuring to me..but in all honesty you are more than likely over reacting...because the baby is in the sac and it cushions it alot more than most people think..i actually slept on my bumb till i was five months pregnant i couldnt sleep any other way...and one day it was just way to big to sleep on...my son is now 16 and it didnt affect him at all..i also fell with him when i was 8 months again didnt affect him..i fell off a curb on my knees and stomach

Call your doctor and keep a look out for spotting. I am sure you are fine. I fell out of the shower while I was pregnant with my son and he came out healthy. I am sure you are ok. Babies have a lot more padding in there than you think.

Go to see your doctor or midwife just to get checked over and put your mind at rest as it is not good for you to be worrying.
I fell over at 12 weeks and was fine but I was worried so got checked over. Also my sister in law fell over at six months and was fine.
You really should get checked tho, just to make yourself feel better.
Good luck xx
