How to care for monarch chrysalis fallen from plant after recent storm?????

Have kept it inside for 8 hours, what to do???

Chrysalis is detached from site- wondering what is naturally proper. Should I try to reattach it (drop of glue maybe?) or just leave it propped up upright? Please advise.

Wide mouth container, even an aquarium with a screen top. Put the chrysalis in there, keep it dry and warm. Lucky you! Release the little fella when it hatches and is ready to fly.
