psp motherboard help!!!!?

Question

ok, i opened my psp to replace the lcd screen with another one. ONE PROBLEM, the screen is connected but the screen does not come on!!! WHY?? Another thing, one of my motherboard has a broken claps(the big connecter, not the little one.) Is there some way to fix this problem with sdome electric tape or something. Please, i really need the help, thanks
