My Magikarp is being raised at a day care. I really want it to become a Gyarados. But my magikarp is already at lvl 30.
Shouldn't ot all ready baecome a Gyarados. (If wondering I'm playing pokemon pear).

Your pokemon at the day care can learn attacks when the level is there but it does not evolve. So take it out and raise one level. You will see it has changed to Gyarados.

No, it can not. The daycare will prevent it from evolving. What you should do is take your most powerful pokemon, and and your Magikarp and have your Magikarp hold an Exp.Share after it gets to the desired level from the Daycare. Or cheat and use a Rare Candy, your choice :)

No it cant evolve while in the daycare.if it is the level that it evolves or higher (which your magikarp is ) raise it one level and it will evolve. the bad thing about putting pokemon in the daycare they teach the pokemon a move no matter what (they delete the pokemons first move). fyi to raise a pokemons level in the daycare, each step counts as an experience point.

the magikarp evolves at level 20, or ANY level after 20.
however, if it is not in your party when it levels, it will not become a gyrados.
your magikarp will never evolve until you take it into your group and evolve it yourself
no pokemon can evolve while in day care

You have to take it out of day care then you have to fight with it one time and level it up one time. Then your Magicarp will be able to succesefully evolve into a Gyarados.

No pokemon can't evolve at the day care. They have to be with youfor while after you pick them up. I don't know how long it takes for a magickarp to evolve though. Go to Gamefaqs.com

No. Take it out of the daycare an raise it one level then watch it evolve.

If you leave it in there it wont do anything. Take it out and give it an Exp. Share and level it once more. Ta-da! Brand new Gyrados!
