Depends. I'm impatient on the way to work. I'm impatient at work. I'm impatient on the way from work. I'm patient at the Grocery store in a long line. I'm patient when I deal with children and while doing any sort of teaching.

I'm an inpatient, they only let me off the ward for an hour a week. I spend it here.
