Chuck Berry was robbed as far as recognition for being one of the first pioneers of rock but he doesn't have enough relevance or hits in general to be considered rock's king. Elvis, as overrated as he is still deserves the title as far as record sales, overall impact, and being an almost myth-like legend. Besides, to be king of a certain genre of music doesn't necessarily mean to be the first of that genre.
