noticed that more people are being racist to asians because of the actions of Cho. I personally feel this is wrong, for the whole asian community to be singled out for the wrong doings of one misguided person. Let's say if another Asian person did this, and another asian person. Let's say that asian people get stereotyped for being this way, and then society treats you worse. This would coerce more people to commit the actions of Cho. Pretty soon, society will view Asian people this way. This is how it for black people everyday. They are prejudged by people everyday and yet Asians *MANY NOT ALL*, prejudge blacks all the time despite what has happened to some of them due to Cho's actions. Why, do many Asian ppl open shops in statiscally bad areas, and expect to be treated well? Anyway, how would you feel if YOU were always compared to how the media portrays you? For those that have experienced racims/prejudice over the acts of Cho, you only have a glimpse of what it's like.

I know Cho was Korean, but many Americans group east/southeast asian into one category, so I wasn't formal.

If you're not White in this country, someone will discriminate against you. Simple is that. One funny thing I notice is when Kristi Yamaguchi won the 1991 World Championships, she is American but imagine if she is a mass murder, she's Japanese.
Same thing with Cho, when they found out he killed 31 other people, just because he's Asian, some said he didn't speak English because he didn't talk to anyone. Not knowing that he graduated high school here in the states and his sister went to Princeton- one of the eight Ivy League universities in this country

What on earth are you talking about? Asia is a huge area with hundreds of languages, and cultures. It embraces Turks and Israelis, Yemenese and Sri Lankans, Siberians and Indonesians and many many more. I have no idea who Cho is but why should people be racist towards Syrians because of someone called Cho?

There is no such race as "Asian" any more than there is a race "Black" or "White". They cannot be defined. There are many different societies and cultures on this planet but there is only one race.

lol it's ok...no one really talks about it anymore or makes fun of me even though I'm Asian(at least where I live). Besides, Asians aren't typically stereotyped to be psychopathic killers, (more like math nerds) because I think most people know that that was just one incident and it would be pretty stupid if people actually thought that all Asians were that way because we are peaceful people...we come to America for opportunity, not to kill and I think people know this.

how old are you Kizzah? it fairly is a tragic element to verify suffering yet black each and every physique isn't the only ones who go through on a daily basis. God created each and every physique in His photograph and we are all equivalent. God made a style of persons with the aid of transforming into Adam and Eve with reproductive powers. yet this is yet another tale. God isn't partial He loves all human beings and he incredibly isn't the reason for all the poor suffering . For the main section it fairly is led to with the aid of human beings themselves and that's because of the fact they do no longer hear to the regulation of God. God is allowing this tio take place actual now yet he will quickly positioned an end to it take care

Ok, let talk about this in a logical way, and anally this:

1 - Korean do bad thing in US and newspaper make it big
2 - Black people do bad thing in US and newspaper make it big
3 - Have you ever heard about White people do bad thing in Asian Country and newspaper make it big?

So what is the problem? the foreign people? or the society?
