Well...if it still works, post it on Freecycle...there's probably somebody who'd love to have it.
If it's junk, just throw it in the trash can and haul it to the curb.

call the town to see if they will recycle
most have programs
if not.
go to a dumpster in the middle of the night and get ride of this problem.

put an old jacket on it and place it at a bus stop. chances are-no one will notice it.

list it on www.craigslist.com it is free...even if you give it away. if you make even $10, it is more that you have now.
