The mobo supports UDMA 33/66/100/133 and I don't know if the HD I want to buy is one of those.

of course it would as long as it had a Sata Or IDE cable interface,

Kowing socket A's dont thx they had sata back them So IDE Drives only

The specs you mentioned are for hard drives that connect to the IDE port. Get the Seagate IDE or ATA type hard drive.

Yes it will. The only onces that won't work is SCSI as it requires a add on card.
