Criminal Mischief Second Degree for a juvenile... what is the penalty? Fine? Probation?

If its a misdeamenor and a first offense, most likely a fine.

If it's a felony and a first offense, it will be probation and a fine.

It's a misdemeanor. 2 years probation maximum. $1000 fine is the maximum fine. (Keep in mind that Restitution is separate!) Up to 180 days in a Juvenile Detention Facility is possible, but VERY unlikely.

Usually, for a 1st time offender it is 6 mos. probation, $500 fine.
