I have a Motorola Razr phone and it has been very sturdy. I have accidentally dropped it a few times but that hasn't affected the phone at all. Of course, dropping ANY cellphone can damage it, so you do have to be careful with it. The phone does come with a one year warranty that is through Motorola but if you have one and you've not abused it and it does stop working, usually your carrier will replace it for you if it's been less than a year. As I said, the trick is, is if you have abused the phone or not. One thing you can do and one thing your carrier will ASK you to do if you call them and tell them your phone is defective is they will ask you to open the back of the phone, remove the battery and tell them what color the DOT is underneath where the battery goes. If it is WHITE, then that means the phone has not been subjected to water/liquid. If the DOT is pink or red, then they're going to tell you that the phone has been in water and that completely voids any warranty you might have had. Another thing to remember is to be careful when opening your Razr phone. Don't flip it open with one hand...that is very hard on the phone and really isn't necessary. Other than that, the phone is very sturdy, can take SOME hits but I wouldn't push it. Just remember if you have any problem with the phone that seems to be something internal that you KNOW you haven't caused, I'd call my carrier (if you bought the phone from them) and tell them and ask them if they would replace it. Otherwise, you're going to have to send it to Motorola yourself and wait on a replacement phone if you even get a replacement. Good luck!

So far my razr has been pretty good...Of course, it's not insured so I'm extra careful with it. If it was insured and if I was to break it, I could just replace the old one for free or I THINK it's possible to get your money back. Personally, I would be careful with it no matter what.

razrs are very fragile. they cant take much bumping. usually only 1 or 2 drops can destroy them. but if ur determined to get a razr then get a case or something to protect it and be careful with it.

some razrs break easily.some don't.just depends on how well you take care of it.
alot of my friends have razrs and some of my friends' broke while others lasted a long time.
i personally dont like razrs because they are easy to break.
