He has been married twice and his brothers kids call both ex wives "aunt" and the step kids kids call her "grandma". This is going to get kind of confusing. I dont want to be aunt or grandma. I would just prefer to be called by my first name Becky. What is the proper etiquett?

They laugh and think it is cute that I could be called "grandma" NO WAY! I think they need a reality check because I am not these kids grandma and never will be. My own kids will make me a grandma when it is time, not that old farts kids.

Im a tad confused about calling them grandma, but as for the aunt its perfectly fine, if its what you are comfortable with. My uncles have divorced and remarried, yet whenever I see their first wives, whether out and about or at family functions, I still call them aunt, and I am almost 32. In my family once you are in the family, you are in it whether divorced or not. One of my cousins got remarried, yet her first husband was always at family gatherings. Its what works for each family I think.
