My husband and I are going into our second month of TTC. I was just wondering how long it took some of you. And any tips would also be appreciated!

The first time I got pregnant, it was on the first try. This time, it's month 5 and so far nothing...
The best thing I can tell you is know for sure when you are ovulating and have sex RIGHT BEFORE that. It's more important to have sex before ovulation than after. The egg only lives for 12 to 24 hours, so it's better to already have sperm in there waiting for it.

1st time, 1&1/2 mos; 2nd time, right away (I wanted my 1st 2 a year apart and they are); 3rd (5 years later) took around 10 mos but I was on different b/c and was 5 years older.
drink a lot of green tea, know when you ovulate & DON'T STRESS IT. I think stress is a big contributor to infertility, not necessariy anyone's fault, though. TTC can be very stressful on both parties.
My thoughts (and this can apply to a lot of things): the more you want it the more you can't get it.

It only took a few weeks for my first but i'm going on three months now with my second. All I can say is track your ovulation, get a kit or something. Oh and also after having sex after you partner has finished doing the deed... lift your legs up, it worked for me the first time and i swear this month i'm doing that too... i hope it works for you as well!

I'm going on 7 months trying. The best advice I can give is to not stress about it. You will drive yourself crazy. Try to enjoy the time with your husband and not worry every second about what your body is doing. Good Luck!!!

I got pregnant the first time I tried. I tracked my cycle for 3 months before trying and had sex a few days before I ovulated. That was all it took.

would this be your first baby? and sometimes it deponds what kind and how long you was on bc. with my son which was my 2nd baby i missed one shot and got pg right way. but with my third child it took 8 mths.
good luck and dont worry so much. they say must first time people try for a year.
