I mean, nerds always get rejected by the popular kids. Nerds are smart, charming, funny and awesome if you get the chance to know them a little better, sure they're weird, but everybody is weird as well, so you shouldn't be dissing a nerd by its look. We should be equal, not labelled.

yea, but actually many nerds(like me, well im kinda nerdy/ordinary) dont care to be in the popular group i have my own friends and i wouldnt want to hang with pops b/c they r annoying!

The popular are insecure. They take their insecurities out on everyone, and for some reason they pick on the nerds. Which isn't cool because nerds can actually be really nice and a help when class/homework is giving you a major headache.

Most popular people realize they are only popular because of their good looks! The thought that if it came down to substance, as in smarts, talent etc. they wouldn't make the grade, is threatening! If all you got are looks......
That can and will pass, then what?! Better for them to berate the "nerds" and reinforce themselves that to let anyone see the truth.

Don't worry about this crap. TRUST ME! I went to my 10 year high school reunion (I was a dork, ate lunch in the hall because I didn't know anybody at lunch!) and the prior nerds had all great jobs, nice wives, sweet kids, and jobs that they loved. The popular people.....well.....they were much less popular than they thought they were in HS!!!!!

i think popular kids only pick on nerds because they actually feel bad for them. i think they are scared it will ruin the reputation. Nerds are just people like popular kids. i mean if someone wears glasses and trousers so what! they are people just like them!!! some popular kids are stupid and don't even care about them, but others do care but are afraid to show it.

Gabriel, it continually became into this way , particular people think of that they are extra effectual than others in each way, funds, seems, history, intelligence and another sense much less because of the fact of them , they sense on my own undesirable grotesque, destructive, stupid and from a history that as no magnitude . the only thank you to combat it is to be happy interior of ourselves discover different friends that we are able to narrate to and share despite we've stable cases and undesirable cases. So in case you sense undesirable around those people discover friends that relate to you and you will see on how different you sense promise!

I hate labels, such as "nerd" & people who label them/ pick on them are ignorant. We are all created equal, but some don't see it this way. They should put themselves in the other person's shoes & see how it feels to be picked on.

I agree with you...totally on what your saying!
My view on this is....
I think some people just don't except some people..because people sometimes have trouble excepting people who aren't like them who have different interests and styles..and likes.
So called "Nerds" have a stereotype of being smart and werid.
Well those so called "popular" people..sense there stereotyping..just forget about them..they have problems with them self..if they can't except others!

Dear, I went to high school in the seventies and I always thought it was because they felt jealous and threatened ! Jealous cause they were not as smart and threatened cause the smart kids stole their spotlight !
