I was called a plagerist. I can't tell you how it stabbed me in the gut. You see I'm an English teacher. The one thing I try to instill in my students is to be independent thinkers. To take a chance and go out on a limb and communicate their thoughts even if they find they differ from others.

So time and time again people on here have written about my answers:

"Oh I googled that same article and read it on line. Those aren't her words. She plagerized it!"

When words are your passion and you pour your heart out into them, it just stings when someone makes a rash judgement without actually knowing the facts.

I have no doubt that you felt the same way. To take something you've said and twist it until they make you into a racist monster is just so unfair. I'm so sorry you have had to endure that. For what it's worth, you've always been more than a gentleman. I'm glad to see you keeping your head up and not letting these words bury you. :)

If someone called me a perv, though, they'd be correct.

Oooh, they've told me I have severe father issues too because I like older men. But I'm very much a Daddy's Girl and he's been there my whole life and we have a very good relationship.

I've been called a mexican which only bothers me because it was in the immigration forum because all these people think jsut because their ancestors took it from the native americans and the french drove the mexicans out bfore it was bought by the english...that it's their god given right to be racist pieces....(i'm part native american)

first of all i wish you probably did no longer tell him your finished call via fact then you definately could be in an incredible style of hardship via fact human beings can song you with purely your first and final call and make contact with/cellular numbers. while you're fairly scared call you shut by police station, tell them what got here approximately. i became as quickly as interior the comparable quandary, went right down to the police station advised them what got here approximately and that they referred to as the guy who became threatening me. under no circumstances have been given a call from him returned.

I was called stupid once, and called dog face on another occasion. (I considered that a compliment)
A couple of days ago, I received a nice polite threat in my inbox that basically said either delete or revise certain answers or be reported and suspended.

I don't think I've personally been called anything but, I've have answers removed for reasons that I certainly don't understand.
