I would think rock stars.
More of them seem to have higher regard for women than rap stars (not the highest, mind you, but certainly much better than rappers).
Rappers fill their lyrics with derogatory slurs regarding women, calling them b*tches and hos and whatever else.
I'm not saying that rockers have not had their moments ("Cherry Pie" by Warrant comes to mind; yes I know it's late 80s), but rappers, for the most part, seem to regard women as nothing more than objects that should be at their beck and call.
Just my two cents on the matter...

I prefer Alternative Rock stars. I think rock is getting more 'in' again. All rap 'songs' sound alike and I think girls are starting to notice.

Depends on the "young lady", but rap music sales are down 21% from last year. As for me, as a blues-rocker, I like the ones that like ROCKERS... especially BLUES-ROCKERS!
