If so, which countries will remain alive?

You're asking us to look over 7000 years ahead. The oldest civilizations on the planet arose less than 7000 years ago... asking us to predict that far ahead is like asking the ancient Egyptians or Babylonians to guess what the world's political setup would be in the year 2000.

My guess is that there'll still be lots of people living in the territory of the present-day United States, and in Canada too unless the world is in the middle of an ice age. However, the governments will bear virtually no resemblance to the current U.S. and Canadian governments, just as the current Egyptian government doesn't look even remotely like the government from the age of the pharaohs.

I do feel very confident that mankind will be prospering 7000 years from now, and much of human civilization will be in outer space or on other planets than Earth.

The way we're going about destroying the planet at the moment nothing will exist in about 100 years, let alone last until the year 9050!

yes it is true. In the next few hundred years, this planet of ours is going to get hit by an asteroid so big, that it is going to give it a whole new spin. The Congo in Africa will be the new North Pole , and the U.S. and Canada will be at the equator. So the equatorial bulge will cover most of North and South America, where the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans are going to cover most of the land mass with water. I believe Antarctica will be the last frontier

why? because it seems like every empire seemed to destroy itself? just because the romans did that, and the egyptians, and te greeks, and the english all kinda destroyed themselves does not mean that the US will do it too. but in 9050 im guessing that some country would have "pressed the button" and destroyed the earth.

That is true. At the rate that we're going now. We'll be lucky to survive to 2050! Am I right or what?

But I do think that there will be life found on other planets. Like Gliese 581 maybe.

Do a search on "Gliese 581." It's pretty interesting.

By then, it's all but certain that no existing countries will still be around. Political systems just don't last that long.

The US and Canada do not exist now. They are just artificial concepts. Teachers, parents, and the media have all been lying to you. The US and Canada exist as much as Mordor and The Shire.

No one can tell you that. The future is not set. And I really doubt the human race will last another 7,000 years.
