Alright.. first thing to to do is look at the coefficients in the expression, you've got -20,28 and 44.. All of these coefficients are factors of 4 so remove a factor from each of the coefficients and rewrite the expressions...

4(-5m^3n^2+7m^2n^3-11m^2n^3)

Now looking at the m and n variables, across each of the 3 terms you can factor out m^2 from each of the terms, so rewriting the expression you get

4m^2(-5mn^2+7n^3-11n^3)

For the n variables you can factor out an n^2 out of each term giving you

4m^2n^2(-5m+7n-11n)

Notice that you can collect terms inside the brackets (ed. something we/i should have done earlier)

4m^2n^2(-5m-4n)

Voila, your expression is factored...

Hope this helps.

-4m^2n^2(5m - 7n +11n) =
-4m^2n^2(5m + 4n)
