There are many life-risks that we take every day for far less than a million lives. We risk death while driving simply to change locations. We risk death from occupational accidents just for a few bucks. Some risk death in childbirth just for one child. Smokers risk it for a puff of nicotine, and obese risk it for the taste of sugar.
In that context, most would take some level of life "risk" for far less than saving a million lives. I'd like to think that most would take at least that level of risk for less selfish reasons.

As with most decisions--it depends!!!
Whose life are we risking? Yours?
What are we going to save millions from?
There is a time and place for all things--and there is a time and place where the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one/few.

I would certainly risk my life to save millions if they agree to pay my widow ten bucks per person in return.

yes but in all honesty i would chose to sacrifice the life of a child with tasax i'm sorry but i don't know how to spell it the reason i would choose that child because they would live a painful life and are garaunteed a painful death by five i believe or was it four? don't remember but i believe that someone so young shouldn't suffer but why not die a hero?

there once was a time when i would have said yes to this question, but now..........NO, humanity is not worth the effort. look around you. look at the way we treat each other. look at the way we act towards people who are different from us.
human beings are failures, an embarrassment to god, himself and each other. why save people who will eventually destroy themselves and each other.
there is no hope and we will all burn in hell.
