Is she saying you didn't do the work yourself, or that you didn't turn it in?

If she's saying you didn't do the work yourself, ask her to discuss the project with you. She should be able to look over the work and ask you questions about it. If you did the work, you should know more than what you included in the project. Do you have your notes that you built the project from? Even hand-written notes and Post-Its can show you did the work yourself and didn't just copy something from the internet.

If she says you didn't turn it in, do you have a copy? If it's not something you have a copy of, can you get your parent(s) to back you up?

If you've provided this information and she still won't give you the extra credit, then you and your parent(s) need to make an appointment with the teacher and the principal to discuss it.

Keep calm about it and work through it logically and rationally.

Take this as an early lesson in "the real world". ALWAYS make a copy, or some documentation, of the work you do. For your next project, keep a journal of the research, take pictures of any construction you do, etc. Not only will you be able to back up your work, but you'll be able to use the research again for other projects.

Good luck!

Complain to your mother, she calls the school, gets into an argument with the teacher, asks to speak to the principal, teacher gets fired/yelled at, you get the extra credit!

At least thats what I do...

Get a few references that can back you up saying you did the work and bring in their letters of complaint to your teacher and another to the dean.

Do you have a copy of what you did? Did she hand it back to you? If not, I think it's your word against hers. She sounds like a jerk.
