Go to qualified retail gaming stores, like Gamers and Game Stop. Don't trust pawn shops, they hardly check the quality and operationability of used Nintendo 64 consoles.

You could just search for emulators and roms. Sure, it's technically not legal but if it's that hard to find the console, just download it. It's old enough and I believe in the philosiphy that if it's a certain amount of time old then get it for free. If it's new, pay for it. I don't know why but maybe it's because I can never afford anything new, so I wait till people have all the new stuff and get all the old stuff for free. Also, if it's old, they aren't manufacturing anymore, therefore they aren't earning money from it. It's just getting recycled. If you can find one that's recycled then go for it. But make sure it's cheap because it should be worthless.

Either go to a local resale shop (ask if they have some kind of money-back guarantee in case the console doesn't work) or buy one online. I'd recommend Amazon.com, since you don't have to make any kind of contact with the seller.
You probably won't find one at GameStop or EB Games, since they won't buy those consoles anymore, but you can check.

i'm sorry to rfile which you is basically no longer waiting to play a US/jap N64 interest on your Australian device by using broadcast universal. North u.s. & Japan use the NTSC analog universal, yet Australia makes use of the pal analog universal. there's an excellent type of adjustments, however the majorly stated deal is that NTSC runs at 60 Hz on an identical time as pal runs at 50 Hz. in case you incredibly need to play the U. S. N64 video games, you will the two could desire to discover a mod-chip which will help you conquer the printed universal subject concerns OR purchase a US digital television (observe: the ATSC digital universal it is used interior the U. S. helps ALL analog formats) with a US N64 besides because of the fact the mandatory potential converters to realize this. in any different case, basically get your self a Wii & delight in the digital Console's N64 library. i be attentive to it incredibly is not the respond which you incredibly desire to pay attention, yet there's an excellent type of problems that could ensue once you start to get into importing video games... incredibly once you coping with different broadcast standards. i visit observe which you will import Western eu video games (from the united kingdom, for occasion) because they run on the pal analog universal besides... if it is any convenience. wish this helps!

Go to local conventions.
I recently went to Fanimecon and bought an N64 with a controller (the analog stick was perfect!) for ten bucks, and bought Pokemon Stadium and Stadium two with strategy guides for 10$ with it.
If not, you can find anything on eBay!

i would also recommend e bay but i think you can order one from the Nintendo site (not hundred percent sure) but you can do that with playstations so it will probably work.
