Is it biologically impossible for women to keep secrets?

Seriously, why is it that every women cant a secret? They say they wont tell anyone but then they will always tell one of their sisters or best friends. I mean WTF? Is it biologically impossible for women to keep secrets?

No, it's not biologically impossible for women to keep secrets. But, I can certainly assure, as a woman, that the majority of them do not and will not keep a secret. My friends and associates do not and I have learned not to tell them anything I do not want repeated. At the same time, I also know that men do not keep secrets and I do not tell them anything I do not want repeated. I personally believe it's human nature for man/womankind to gossip. So take it from a learned source. If you don't want something spread around, just don't tell.

Ya know I was going to start this out saying, you mean some women, not all, then I got to thinking about it...and found you may be on to something. I am a female and I do keep everyone's secrets from everyone except my sister. For some reason I tell her everything, I mean she keeps it a secret too, or I wouldn't tell her, but yeah you may be right? Huh never thought of it that way.

I have never blabbed a secret in my life. I am the only one I know who doesn't tell someone elses secrets. I honestly don't know what it is with women/girls about keeping secrets, but all the ones I know tell secrets as soon as they hear them. It drives me crazy! I am so sure I'm the only one who can keep a secret.

Haha...hmm good point! I don't think anyone with family and freinds can hold secrets. People that don't really have a social life are great secret keepers. As for women I think it might be almost impossible for us to hold a secret.

Trust me, there are so many things that no ones knows about me. And no one will ever know. Just because some women always need someone to talk to about secrets they know about doesn't mean all of us need that. It just means that they are more social and emotional maybe. But woman can definately keep secrets.

I would suggest you find other women to talk to. I have carried secrets for years and don't intent to ever reveal them, and I'm a woman. I wonder what you did that you didn't want anyone else to know. Was it something too horrible, illegal, or dangerous to be kept secret?
