were suppose to get a couple of severe storms tomorrow. the rain, the thunder and lightning. excitement of the chance of tornados so my question is who here like severe thunderstorms?

i do. you must be getting the remains of the storm that passed through here (north dakota) yesterday. tornado activity around williston.

I grew up in upstate northern N.Y., and we used to get unreal storms, coming off of Lake Ontario, and I loved them. The thunder was so loud, that you would have chicken skin. Somtimes , you could hear the windows rattle a little on a big clap of thunder. Yes, it was great fun to go through a major thunder and lightning storm. I still enjoy them.

I'm in the Brainerd Lakes area and the temp is not going up. It's windy and damp, and yes we're supposed to be getting some storms. I don't mind them as long as I have a basement to cower in until it's over. I have a basement.

Love 'em now, but my Mom made me spend a good portion
of each Summer, sitting in the basement for safety, ack!
