They do just like humans they have an umbilical cord that it cut off during birth all primates have belly buttons because they are the species of animals that are more distinctly like us physically and socially
Other animals like dogs don't have that sort of scar so they really can't be called belly buttons
so only afew animals like primates have belly buttons

All mammals that develop in their mother's womb need nutrients, and that is why we have umbilical cords. The leftover scar is what we call a belly button. Since humans can cut theirs, they're more round and neat than those of wild animals. :)

All placental mammals have them. It is the mark where the umbilical cord was attached while the young was in the womb. Some are very difficult to see but they are there.

Creatures that are born alive do, in some form or another, regardless of how close they are to us. Its the mark left by the umbilical cord falling off.

Yes, they do. So do dogs and cats, but they are very hard to see-more like a little scar than a big hole like humans
