I don't have any idea who you are or why you have been turned in, but I think it is a necessary evil. Being on Yahoo Answers is a privilege, not a right.
If people want to post dirty words and x-rated thoughts, there are other places on the Internet where you will be welcome.
I have turned people in for the most outrageous offenses from racism and sexism to ageism and religious bigotry. I don't do this lightly.
While I believe in Freedom of Speech, there are young children on here. If you like gathering your points and having fun asking and answering questions, then do so with a civil tongue knowing that there are young children reading what we right as well as people from a wide range of cultures.

P.S. When I was first on Yahoo, I was reported for abusive language. I still cannot fathom what I said that crossed the line. I protested it, but accepted it in stride when I never heard back. I would prefer Yahoo err on the side of caution than take no action at all.

Well I can name a few who need turned in But I dont like the way it is now because you can make someone mad like you know who and he will follow your every question to turn you in for nothing
