Why are Democrats worried so much about the death of Iraqis?

Democrats are worried about all of God's children. Most of the Iraqi deaths are non combatants.

or people dying with no health insurance....
or the vets coming home from Iraq with no place
to live or able to feed his family, or even getting
decent health care for his wounds from fighting in Iraq...

they aren't worried about the lives of Iraqis they want us out of Iraq or out of a civil war but yet they want us to go to Darfur to get involved in their civil war. if the Dem's cared about life they would realize that if we left right now it would really be a bloodbath with innocent Iraqis many of them dying. listen a life is a life all life is precious and should be cherished, but in the political spectrum democrats will flip-flop

really then should we have to depend upon the dems or republicans to combat gang violence? why cant the people who are from the hood, like i am, why cant we finally take a stand against violence in our own neighborhoods? there are more of us good guys than there bad guys. the only reason they dont seem to be worried about gang violence is because no one is talking about, everybody is talking about iraq this, gas prices that, the people in the bad neighborhoods need to rise up and contact the police, their mayor, city concil. i know its hard to trust the police something many of you would disagree with, but once you start making noise in the hood gang violence will slow down. dont be afraid of being called a snitch or a punk but neighborhood should take the iniative and make some noise(oh and threaten not to vote for your current leader) then they will worry about crime but it starts with the people in the hood, they have to want to make a difference and they have to be strong about it and not afraid. but thats just my take

They're not. Remember, they want to withdraw from Iraq. The resultant civil war and probably 'ethnic cleansing' would result in many Iraqi deaths.

The Democrats are concerned with the deaths of Iraqis that can be blamed on Republicans, and the deaths of US soldiers that can be blamed on Republicans, and the deaths of bees or frogs that can be blamed on global warming that can be blamed on the Republicans.

Get the picture?

Gang violence, OTOH, is overwhelmingly perpetrated by minorities, not to mention illegal aliens, and it's hard to stick that one on the typical 'racist' law-and-order Republican.

Just for a second try to put yourself in an Iraquis shoes. Now walk down your street and pretend bullets, bombs, beheadings, and torture is going on. And all you were doing is going to the store for a loaf of bread.

It is unfortunate that in the mix of Iraquis there are bad folks, but the same holds true in any large city in America. Have a great day!

Because they don't worry about things that don't affect them. Gangs in detroit don't affect them, but the high gas prices due to the war does.
